OUR MISSION

OUR BELIEF OUR BELIEF

INTERNET IS THE FIRST FACTFINDER OF THIS GENERATION!

WE HAVE BEEN ON THE INTERNET FOR 7 YEARS

OUR MISSION

We work to bring  hope and  comfort to the wounded and the seekers of truth on the Internet, by  spreading the light of Christ.

THE REASON

We have at heart to help our contemporaries find the joy and peace that comes from God. So few of them know that God exists and that He loves them!

OUR KNOW-HOW

One of our strongest points is the chat, which is an up to date place where each Internet user can start a real human exchange with an e-missionary.

ENCOURAGEMENT FROM POPE FRANCIS

OUR EVENT

The annual e-Mission forum brings together all those who want to evangelize on the Internet.

Testimonials

François had been addicted to pornography for over 25 years. He had never before been able to kick the habit. His life was terribly affected by his addiction. He spoke about it to a priest who gave him the deliverance prayer from SOSporno.net for the intercession of Blessed Carlo Acutis. He started reciting the prayer with all his heart. And then something changed in him… Seven months later he told the priest that he was healed!

Agathe is 22 years old, she has been addicted to pornography since the age of 12 and goes to porn websites every day. One day, she asked God to help her, "because I can't do it alone". At a wedding, an aunt gave her our deliverance prayer asking for the intercession of Blessed Carlo Acutis. Agathe recited it that very same evening, and a week later she realized that she had not gone back to looing at porn websites since—she was healed! She discovered on SOSporno.net that she had received the prayer from us on the same day and at the same time as Carlo Acutis' actual beatification. She announced this to us 9 months later.

Dominique’s companion lost her daughter in dramatic circumstances and he was searching for a way to comfort her. He went on the Internet and typed “life after death” and “suicide”, and he came across our platform Laviearpreslamort.com (LifeAfterDeath.com in English). He poured his heart out to an online e-missionary who emailed him a prayer. Dominique wrote back: “I can’t thank you enough for what you have done for me today!” He contacted a priest near his home we had indicated to him, asked to be baptized and quickly became a catechumen. Dominique has the same first name as the bishop who sent him to the mission of Lights in the Dark. What a wonderful fioretti from God! This person has since become an e-missionary with us.

Saadia started chatting with one of our e-missionairies. She started trusting the person after about 10 minutes and told the person about her life. Saadia was born in Algeria, but she fled her homeland in 1994 because of the civil war and she still begrudged the people who had tramatized her there. We talked to her about mercy and asked her to think about forgiving the people who have hurt her in the past. She asked us how she could meet Jesus and started moving along towards being ready to ask to be baptized. Today, she reads the New Testament and goes to Mass or Vespers every week.

Roxanna used to ask herself a lot of questions about God. After a conversation with an e-missionary on the live chat, she was asked to join an Alpha course. Roxanna took the entire course in her home town and, she still continues her journey in the Church to this day. She tells us: “In our first discussion on the live chat, I really liked your kindness and simplicity. You gave me such a warm welcome. I felt welcomed in the same nice way at Alpha. Lights in the Dark was instrumental in connecting me with others. Now when I go to Mass, I’m not worried about feeling unwelcome or lonely in an unfamiliar place and where everyone else knows each other. I see Alpha members, as well as other parishioners, whom I now know. Today, I can talk about my faith and I feel loved by God." Roxanna asked for baptism and received it two years later!
